I’m a creative artist and songwriter. For as long as I can remember I’ve made two kinds of things: pictures and songs. It took me a while to notice they were the same job, which is to take a feeling and build something that hands it to someone else.
My paintings and drawings are mostly people: coaches, players, musicians, the faces a room already knows. The wood burning and the painted tables are the same idea with a pyrography pen or a gallon of acrylic. My songs lean on melody, plain language and a chorus you can sing back after one listen. Both are built to be remembered.
